Inclusive Thrombovascular Care of Transgender and Gender-Diverse Patients (2026)

My office was approached in August of 2025 by Dr. Anthony Sandre to develop and deliver a free Inclusive Thrombovascular Care of Transgender and Gender-Diverse Patients course.

In addition to Dr. Sandre, the course involved subject matter experts from Mcmaster University, the University of Rochester, the University of Michigan, and the Yale School of Medicine.

The course launched in September of 2026. Focusing on the inclusive cardiovascular and thromboembolic care, this free course aims to address the significant gap in educational training regarding the needs of transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) patients.
