FDV 101 - Website Development (January 2024)

In 2022, I was contracted by McMaster Continuing Education to redevelop the course Web 203 for their soon to be launched Fullstack Web Development program.

I have taught the course since.

The course teaches the principles of designing a website to ensure the information is displayed in a relevant and user-friendly format. Focus is placed on the role of the front-end developer in the design process and on skill development with the tools of web development, such as HTML 5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JavaScript. Students will begin coding simple websites, learn the technical language and develop their skills related to front-end website development.
