Healthcare Ethics in Practice (2015)

As part of my employment with the Learning Technologies Lab, I worked with Dr. Julija Kelecevic to launched the Healthcare Ethics in Practice course and regionalethicsnetwork.com.
I configured a Moodle installation for the website, and put together the course. In addition, I provided feedback regarding training material, etc.
Course Summary
Welcome to the Healthcare Ethics In Practice series, an e-learning course created for people currently working in healthcare. This course is intended as an introduction to healthcare ethics and it consists of eight core and six elective modules. Each of the modules has been developed by a member of Hamilton Health Sciences Office of Clinical&Organizational Ethics, who also holds an appointment at McMaster University. The course is designed for independent learning. You will be mostly on your own to work your way through the modules. However, each of the module has a designated facilitator who will moderate a real-time web-based discussion. Each module contains interactive reflective questions, as well as some content-related questions. You will have an opportunity to share your thoughts and opinions on the topics with other course participants on a discussion board and during the web-based discussion.
As with all Program for Faculty Development offerings, we would very much like to receive your feedback and comments. A short evaluation survey will be available for you to complete at the end of the course.
