Clinical Teachning Fundamentals e-Learning Course (May 2015)

As part of my employment with the Learning Technologies Lab, I oversaw the running of the Clinical Teachning Fundamentals e-Learning Course in the Spring/Summer of 2015. In addition, I provided support to both students and employees of the Program For Faculty Development.
Course Summary
Welcome to the Clinical Teaching Fundamentals e-learning course. This course is intended as an introduction to the fundamentals of clinical teaching for clinical educators. The course consists of six modules, each of which has been written by a McMaster University, Faculty of Health Sciences faculty member with experience as a clinical educator. The course is designed for independent learning. You will be mostly on your own to work your way through this course. Each module has an online facilitator who is available if questions arise and who summarizes module discussions. Topics within each module are interspersed with questions and online learning activities, such as online discussions. The online discussion forums provide you with an opportunity to share your thoughts on topics and your clinical teaching experiences with other learners.
As with all Program for Faculty Development offerings, we would very much like to receive your feedback and comments. A short survey will be available for you to complete at the end of the course.
