On February 23, 2026 I joined the McMaster Department of Oncology as the keynote speaker for their 2026 Education retreat. I gave a two-hour talk titled 'The Realities and Practicalities of AI'.

The Realities and Practicalities of AI -Artificial intelligence is in the midst of a hype-cycle and we ultimately need to employ methodologies and best practices that instill and enhance critical thinking skills in our learners.
